The Mandalorian season 3 trailer has finally been unveiled to the public! Though a modified version of this trailer was shown months ago at Star Wars celebration, the trailer was not available to the public except through handheld phone camera style leaks. Now this trailer tells you a lot more than you might initially think. In fact, I worry that Star Wars trailers have begun sharing too much. I remember with Mando Season 2 and Book of Boba Fett trailers I could barely even speculate on the plot. But now? I feel pretty confident that I have a grasp on this whole season from this one trailer.
Now that it’s confirmed we see that the season will focus on our hero Din Djarin and his adoptive child [Baby Yoda companion], Grogu, as the return to Mandalore after the Great Purge and the Night of a Thousand Tears. Of course we see him interracting with familiar faces such as Bo Katan and Grief Karga, but overall I see this as the most streamlined season of the Mandalorian yet.
