Liam Neeson has finally reprised the role of Qui-Gon in Live Action for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series directed by Deborah Chow on Disney plus. Kenobi has been the first New Star Wars show to release after Kathleen Kennedy revealed her plan to take Disney Star Wars away from new films (like Star Wars Rogue Squadron and Taika Waititi's unnamed film that still has no trailer or title), even going so far as to indefinitely shelve Rian Johnson's Star Wars trilogy.

While Liam Neeson provided the voice fro Qui Gon Jinn in the Clone Wars animated series, this is the first time we have seen him in live action since The Phantom Menace where he died at the hands of Darth Maul in an epic lightsaber duel.

However, his return is darker than you may have realized and carries with it implications of a horrible fate for Obi-Wan Kenobi.
