0Into the Necrovale is an extremely fun rogue-like with an entirely gear-based leveling system in development. The gameplay is kind of like Hades crossed with Diablo. Unlike Hades, the build progression is preserved between runs, so while there are buffs/curses/modifiers you can pick up during a run, your gear-based build is preserved and can be upgraded and changed between runs. Like Diablo, there is also a stash to keep items you might want to try for your build, or just seem like they might be good for a totally different build. Into the Necrovale blends a great mix of moment-to-moment gameplay matters like in roguelikes, and also the cool builds of ARPGs. This game falls squarely in neither genre nor do I think it's trying to. But what it borrows from each, it does really well. I highly recommend grabbing it if you're a rogue-like or ARPG fan.
