DREDGE, the 2023 eldritch fishing game, met with overwhelming critical acclaim and commercial success, in no small part to its clever delivery of its sinister narrative.

This talk presents a case study in how DREDGE's narrative systems were designed and implemented, making heavy use of the open source narrative toolkit Yarn Spinner.
