As WEDF Last Resort nears, CM Punk's plan to weaken Samoa Joe and Joshua Bishop heading into their title match seems to be in full force. After Bishop and HBK came to the aid of Samoa Joe last time on Smackdown, the leader of Smackdown put Samoa Joe in an unwinnable position and placed Joshua Bishop in an unfavorable position as well. WEDF Champion Samoa Joe will have to take on the entire Shield in a three on one handicap match, while Bishop and Shawn Michaels will have to face an angry team of Rated RKO! Will Joe and Bishop even make it to WEDF Last Resort in one peace?
Meanwhile, it seems as though CM Punk has pissed off a lunatic Monster in Abyss as the Monster returned at Tribute to the Troops and sent a clear message to CM Punk and the Shield that he seeks vengeance against them for their actions against his Brothers Kane and The Undertaker. Will Abyss show up and look to ruin Punk's plans?
Sheamus and Cesaro have had enough of being overlooked and disrespected by the boys in the back and by management. The two disgruntled superstars have decided to form a united front known as the Bar as they look to set the Bar on Smackdown. Will they be successful in their first match together? The Bar will take on The New Day.
It looks like Money in the Bank holder R-Truth wants the Intercontinental Championship to his name as well and seems to have hired Curtis Axel to do the dirty work for him. Axel will be facing Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne tonight. Will Axel soften Bourne up and set up a potential showdown between Bourne and Truth? Or will Bourne continue defying the odds? What about the Monster Ryback? Will he be lurking to seek some kind of revenge against the Super Ronnie?
Finally, the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman continues to look to make a statement to the locker room as he will be in action!
