WedSNESday: Let's Play E.V.O.: Search for Eden full play Episode 6 - Weird spiky purple candy guy
With the fruit of their grindy labor in hand, Matt & Luke evolve into their apex predator form and start on the long trek through the age of amphibians in order to continue their trek through space and time - but before they can move onward, one of the ikustega come to them with a request for aid...
With the horn they grinded for shattered, Luke is reserved to spend some more time grinding, so together with Matt, the two NPCs spend some time eating more ikustega and the newly renamed horn-breakers. While farming more Evolution Points, Matt brings up the Mandela effect - a phenomenon that talks about communal memory, and a theory about alternate universes.

E.V.O.: Search for Eden (46億年物語 はるかなるエデンへ) is a side scrolling action game developed by Almanic and published by Enix in 1992 in Japan, then 1993 in North America for the Super Nintendo Entertainment system. it portrays an intelligence moving through the stages of evolution throughout billions of years. From Fish, to dinosaur, to mammal.
The game's central mechanic surrounds the player's ability to freely evolve their character by adding new traits like more powerful jaws, arms and legs for faster speed or more versatility, and other powerful evolutions that both give customizability but allows the player to tailor their experience.
