The NPCs return to Overwatch today to take a look at the new custom Arcade mode feature being tested on the PTR, and to see what players are doing with it - and to be ashamed of how senseless the arcade modes being concocted ultimately are. It's a round of bad rebalance, ridiculous speed tweaks, one-shot-kills and a ton of evidence that when left to its own devices, the internet always goes for the absurd.

Overwatch is a 2-team class-based FPS reminiscent of the classic Team Fortress 2, created and published by Blizzard on May 24th, 2016 for PC and current-gen consoles, based in part around a cancelled Blizzard MMO project called Titan. The game is heavily character focused, with 21 separate playable heroes, each filling a specific team dynamic role. The object of each round is to either occupy a specific point on the map, or move a payload through the map, with one team attacking, and the other defending.
