I know where the grimoires are and usually get them on this level, but after 2 attempts as Kerillian I was sorta tired of dying on the finale due to the bots being totally incompetent at dealing with the ranged specials. Only Saltzpyre actually has no ranged option, but neither of the other two seem to use their handguns. I chose to use the javelin on the Sister of the Thorn career because the staff wasn't enough to take them out solo, **and** chose not to grab the grimoires so that the bots at least stood a chance.

The plan was to try circling the main statue slowly, so that any globadier gas would end up falling behind us instead of on us. This worked, but I think it may be the cause for a strange side effect that I experienced, in regards to the director spawning the enemies for the event.

The game sent our waves very very slowly, but the specials kept spawning (in 4s instead of 2s for some reason). I probably killed 40+ and they just kept spawning. The actual waves of non-specials spawned once per maybe 2 full minutes of nothing. We'd deal with those and have to wait forever for the next.

I've never experienced this before and could not possibly tell why it happened. My guess is the whole "circle the statue" plan bugged the ai out but I'm unsure. In any case, an event that usually takes maybe 3-5 minutes normally took me almost 20 to complete.
