According to reginald's fortune telling, they are fated to find two gates to the Shadowfell there as well as Bell's friend, who seems to be in some sort of trouble.
In order to prepare for their journey, they gather more money and supplies by going back to the Wizard's Mansion north of Rochdale to clear out whatever was left behind, but upon arrival, they find the remains of what seemed to be 4 horses tied up, now cut loose by someone unknown. Taking Ryudo to help sniff out whatever treasure they can find, they eventually make their way down through the watery tunnel that bell had discovered before.
Inside, it appeared the traps were getting more simple, yet deadly. A ground with erupting poisonous gas, a seemingly bottomless pit covered up by an illusion of treasure. An acid pool, fire jets, a nearly impossible-to-traverse curving pit followed by spikes on the ground, all capped off with another illusion of a massive, undead Black Dragon! But waiting within was the real treasure... along with the petrified bodies of the Shining Star Brigade, who had come to collect on the treasures left behind. Guarding it all was a Beholder who had made it's home beneath the mansion.
After a hard fought victory, the party gathers up the statues of the Brigade, set on curing them of their petrification. With various options to choose from, they set sail towards Wintervale to close the gates and save their friends.
