What are M-Count Bounties? | Star Wars Explained
8Being first introduced in the latest Bad Batch episode, M-Count bounties play a driving role in the story. After learning of them from Phee, the Bad Batch seek out Fennec Shand for more information on why the Empire is sending out bounty hunters for these M-count individuals like Omega. Although it’s never fully dove into after this scene, it’s likely that we’ll learn more about the bounties when Fennec’s contact appears within the next few episodes. All we know is that the Empire has been pursuing high M-count individuals for some time now, enough to put out a bounty for them. These individuals may be Force sensitive, either surviving Jedi or children that were never found by the Order before its downfall. These captured M-count individuals that the Empire is experimenting on at Tantiss could be what’s hidden in Hemlock’s vault, something we’ll hopefully get the answer to by the end of the season.
