Welcome to "Khud0 - Indie Game Dev" channel. What are some good books for game development? I read a lot of them and chose five to discuss. They are Theory of Fun for Game Design by Raph Koster, The World of Warcraft Diary A Journal of Computer Game Development by John Staats, World of Warcraft Book by Daniel Lisi, Shovel Knight by David Craddock and Spelunky by Derek Yu. Three of these books are Boss Fight Books. Watch the video till the end to learn more about these books. Not all of them are the best game development books to read but some of them are really great books for game designers. Which one is the best? I'll tell you my opinio, but you should give them a try yourself. If you are looking for books to read as a game developer, my list will come in handy.
