What Freedom of Speech Means to Me as a Libertarian
Visual Description: The majority of the screen is taken up by window capture footage recorded in OBS, which is used to visually showcase what sections of text that a woman in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen is citing. For most of the video the Libertarian Party's platform page is shown, though text from Constitution Annotated is also briefly showcased. At the end of the video a "Works Cited" page is shown on-screen. A photograph of a field of dandelions has been used as an overall background layer, helping to fill in any blank spots.
Description: I feel like many people fundamentally misunderstand Libertarianism. I want to help educate people about what my party's platform actually states. To me, "Freedom of Speech" is about protecting people's rights from the government, not stripping individuals and companies of their right to "Freedom of Association". I support the rights of both major social media corporations, and tiny little individual content creators to set whatever standards of association that they deem fit. I oppose government censorship and government regulation of speech.
