My copy of Mario Kart World arrived a day before the switch 2 actually launches.
So, I thought I might as well find out what happens if you put the cartridge in an original switch and try to play it.
Besides being the color red, the new cartridges are basically the exact same size as the old ones, so there's nothing stopping you from doing this.
Well, that's incredibly disappointing. All you get is a warning message telling you that Nintendo switch 2 software cannot be played on this system.
I was kind of hoping that it would maybe throw up the game art or something, But nope, just a generic message.
I don't know why, because I really shouldn't be, but I'm kind of disappointed by this.
