The world in Minecraft is BIG... 60,000,000 m² to be exact. At least that is what the world border indicates. However, since the relationship between the Nether and the Overworld provides some interesting distance differences, I decided to look into how the Nether portals behave at these extreme distances. After all, one block in the nether is 8 in the Overworld, so how will a portal at the Nether world border behave?


There are lots of resources online about the world border, but I decided the best way to find out was through some personal experementation. Once I was done I took to the internet to find out more, seeing what others had found.
