What I Played Recently (Summer Edition)
758It’s been a little bit since I sat down and just talked through what I’ve been playing lately. I really enjoy doing these — they’re kinda like our own little video game book club. I get great recommendations from you all every time. This is the Summer Edition, so here’s what’s been in the mix: I finally beat Tomb Raider 2013 and Halo Reach on Legendary (that was a ride), been chipping away at Hi-Fi Rush, squeezing in some Stardew Valley in the mornings, and even picked up House Flipper on sale just for fun. Played a little Jurassic World Evolution 2, jumped into The Finals and Halo MCC for a few rounds, but I’m still not really feeling multiplayer these days. Also messed around with Left 4 Dead 2 again — that game is such a blast with friends. Oh and Bayonetta 2 on Switch is in the rotation too.
Honestly, life’s been kind of heavy lately. Stressful few months. And I’ve realized again how much I just enjoy finishing games. That rhythm of starting something and actually seeing it through — it hits different right now. Hope you enjoy and your summer is going well!
