What if "Five Nights at Freddy's" was a platformer?
3The storyline of "Five Nights at Freddy's" has always been full of twists& turns over the course of time, and it's undeniable that the folks over at Game Theory have done a SUPERB job solving the amazingly complex lore of the franchise as the years go by (and to think it all started in 2014)... but aside from the original story, I always thought the fan-made interpretations were a bit more interesting. The simplicity of having 5 dead kids in animatronic suits who are out to hunt the person who killed them is easy enough to wrap my brain around... and it makes for a story that's much easier to follow, too.
But how exactly could we interpret a story like that into a 2D Platformer (that's nothing like Fazbear in After) without taking away the horror elements that made the original memorable to begin with? And how can we convert this into a memorable experience that'll make anyone who stumbles upon it dive into the game's mythos without getting TOO over-the-top with it?
Welp, "Super FNAF" is a project that you'd wanna keep your eye on if you're into 2D Platformers that allow you to explore every nook & cranny to find hidden lore-bits or disturbing secrets. If you're into games like this... then you're chock-full of luck, because exploring the environment in this game can give you an ENTIRE deck-full of nods, secrets, and even references to the original game that give you a more in-depth look at this game's universe.
If you'd like to give it a shot, then the link is down below. Although, I highly advise that you keep an eye on the age-rating. (If anyone cares about that, anyway.) The game's darker elements come into play once you make it through the very first segment of the game, so if you can't handle any game with psycological horror embedded in it's plot, then I highly advise that you don't click on the link below & ignore this game altogether.
