I was recently asked to see what happens if Ike fled from the Black Knight during FE9's confrontation scene. The alternate dialog that plays out if you decide not to duel the Black Knight is both very telling about what happened to Nasir and Ena, but also gives the player a glimpse into what could have been.

It is worth noting that this route is not canon, as Ike is said to have beaten BK. Their discussions in Radiant Dawn point to it being the case.

Rest in pieces, Nasir. Your sacrifice was in vain, as Black Knight survived in the end...
