What if Minecraft Hated on Survival Builders?
Ever wonder if Minecraft starts malding at survival builders who just make homes and cities that would’ve been done way faster in creative? It’s all fun and games till the angry village raids turn up because you refuse to beat minecraft.
So that’s what this very loosely-scripted Let’s Play focuses on: Minecraft actively coming after the player instead of the other way around. A sort of desperate attention-seeking ex-girlfriend way of turning builders into fighters because the game doesn’t want you ignoring the Ender Dragon.
While the overall events and sequence are very roughly ordered for a sense of story, everything else was standard reactions from live gameplay. A Let’s Play, but with a bit more structure. Because I’m not a speed runner who likes slaughtering the Ender Dragon dozens of times a day. I’d rather build another city and have some pictures to look at when I inevitably accidentally lose the save or something.
And obviously yes there’s mods in play to help boost the comedy. Those would be the 1.12.3 Gravestone Mod, Tech Guns Mod, and Optifine because shaders are great. Until you’re at night trying to give clear action. Then shaders are not so great, but still look nice. No idea what my next Minecraft Let’s Build will be like, but it’ll probably be the most recent releases since it’d probably be funny seeing a rusty player trying to get a handle on everything that changed.
And as a final note, this video was less of a Let’s Build than intended but that’s fine: It was a big experiment in crafting my own custom sounds and soundtrack for projects coming later down the road! Very happy about that result!
DD Builds’ Let’s Build Series: A slightly different take on the eternal Let’s Play formula which focuses more on creativity to create the comedy and jokes. Sometimes it’s partially scripted, sometimes it’s completely blind, but the point is to enter a game (or other program or activity) and show the possibilities that can be done with creative elements while entertaining the viewer. Games done focus on simulation and sandbox construction games like Planet Coaster, Minecraft, Planet Zoo, Jurassic World Evolution, and much more! Programs and IRL stuff include minipainting, modelmaking, sculpting, HeroForge, Scribblio, and more! Anything that has an in-depth constructive system will work!

Note: I’m very proud to say over half of the songs and dozens of sounds were made by me! Baby steps to having a full soundtrack on command! So if you can’t find a tune from this video in this section, it’s currently not available cause I made it.
