We hear it in video games, commercials, movies, and even still in pop music today. But what exactly is "swing", and where did it come from? Why does "computer swing" sound so different from humans playing swing? Is "swing" just the space between notes? In this Sunday Jazz School, we explore an introduction into the world of swing, diving into its history and its progression through time to the present.
