What is The Release Date of TMNT: Shredders Revenge?

One of our ten most anticipated games of 2022 is TMNT: Shredders Revenge, but obviously there is a concern for depth. The reason that this game is high on the list is because there is so much nostalgia tied to this title for me and many other gamers who grew up in the 80’s and 90’s with these bodacious turtles.
The game is being developed by Tribute Games but the even better news is that it’s being published by DotEmu, who have shown a real knack for bringing back classics
There are still many questions about TMNT: Shredders Revenge but the biggest is release date which, we could try to theorize thanks to the blueprint from Streets of Rage 4 because it is very comparable. Streets of Rage 4 was a retro revival, it reviewed around an 85, it was published by DotEmu and it was released in April, think about it.
It would make sense for TMNT: Shredders Revenge to release in a similar window because Streets of Rage 4 found great success releasing in early spring when there aren’t as many new games released. Within the first year, Streets of Rage 4 had been downloaded over 2.5 million times. One other thing is that Streets of Rage 4 released on Xbox Game Pass on Day One, which bodes well for TMNT Shredder’s Revenge being a day one Game Pass title.
