51What kind of Puppy is Sage? (New Family Addition)
Last week, my daughter decided that she was going give a home to a free puppy for both herself and my grandkids. Unfortunately, when she took the puppy to her apartment, her live-in boyfriend and Joseph's father, decided that he wanted nothing to do with the puppy. My daughter asked if my wide and I would let the the puppy stay with us until she could talk her boyfriend into letter her take the puppy back. Needless to say, the puppy is now with us!
"Sage", as we now call her, is a sweetheart, and has really bonded to both myself and my wife already. She has also positioned herself into the group dynamic of the other dogs. They all play with her off and on, but Jasper (the beagle) is still a puppy himself, so he has really bonded with her as well. Snoopy (albino dachshund) is Alpha, Roscoe (black and grey wire-haired dachshund) is Beta and the muscle of the group. Roscoe is the goofy, yet sensitive one.
According to Zoe, the people she got Sage from first said she was a Pit Bull. Then they said she was a Lab. While she has some features of a Pit Bull, she doesn't have their thick body type or temperament. She doesn't look anything like a Labrador to me. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me if she is any particular breed or if she is simply a good, old-fashioned mutt!
