Chrono Trigger has to be one of the greatest jrpg I've ever played. It combines the fantasy and Sci-fi genres for something completely special. We glaze this game a lot for everything it does but I feel like we never stop to think about the full picture of what makes Chrono Trigger really good. Some people will over highlight the time travel aspect of the game, and while I do think that that's important to Chrono Trigger being one of the greatest JRPG, it misses the overwhelming charm that each area in the game has, has clever and funny the writing is and how memorable and atmospheric some of the best movements in the game are. Chrono Trigger is a game made with a lot of heart and soul, it's a game that respects your time and gives you an experience worth spending your money on. That's what made Chrono Trigger one of the greatest JRPG of all time.
