Sony Wants The Last of Us 2 Remastered PC Players to Sign Into PSN, Offers Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Skin for Ellie as an Incentive
Developer Naughty Dog listed the features that support studios Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy helped bring to the PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, which arrives a year after the PlayStation 5 version.
This PC port will introduce some new content, but to get this out of the way now, PlayStation 5 owners will also get this content in a free update arriving day and date.
For starters, two new characters are being added to “No Return” Mode. Bill is a Smuggler who can get double rewards from dead drops. He can also earn a custom pump shotgun. Marlene is a Risk Taker who can reroute her No Return Path once, as well as use All or Nothing gambits. She carries a Custom Assault Rifle. They also come with four new maps, namely, Overlook, School, Streets, and Nest.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered PC features:
Nvidia DLSS 3 Super Resolution support
AMD FSR 3.1 and AMD FSR 4 support with upscaling and frame generation
VSync and framerate cap options, including an uncapped framerate option
DirectStorage support
Adjustable Texture Quality
LOD Distance Range
Volumetric Quality
Shadow Quality
Ambient Occlusion
Reflections Quality
There’s also support for Ultrawide monitors, so you can play in 21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide, and even 48:9 resolutions with compatibility for triple-monitor setups.
As you’d expect, you can play in 4K resolution, with various supported controllers as well as keyboard and mouse controls. There’s 3D audio, too.
