What The Heck Is Long Gone Days? Gameplay, First Impressions, and Review
In today's video, we are taking a look at Long Gone Days. Long Gone Days is a character-driven military RPG inspired by dystopian literature, but set in our present time, featuring real countries.
The game casts the player as Rourke, a soldier from the Core, a highly isolated place below the surface of the Earth. Just like everybody else in his homeland, Rourke has been trained from birth as a sniper, and knows almost nothing about things unrelated to his job.
After finding out the awful truth about the operation he’s part of in Kaliningrad, he takes the decision to abandon his post, not really knowing the overall consequences of deserting.
Long Gone Days was originally conceived around 2003 by Camila Gormaz, as an RPG Maker 2000 project. Since that moment, releasing it as a game became her life goal. Camila would occasionally write little bits of the game on her free time, but it wasn’t until 2015, after gaining experience in the gaming industry, that the development of Long Gone Days finally began.
Since December 2015 she devoted herself to work on the development of the demo full-time seven days a week, relying solely on her savings, using RPG Maker MV. The demo was finally released on May 2016.

Overall this was a really fun game, and it was really refreshing for an rpg to have absolutely no reliance on magic. The vats like combat system was interesting, and the combat difficulty was actually fairly challenging. Good art to go along with fun characters. Personally would love to play the complete game on the channel when it is released. Thank you very much for watching!
