Whateverland: Prologue [not sure how I feel abt this game]

Alright I had a Darksyde Phill moment NGL - and no not 'that' moment, but what he was known for BEFORE his unfortunate stream hahaha - I mean skipping the dialogue and then not having a clue what you're supposed to be doing because you skipped the dialogue. hahaha I zoned out hard, and I gotta admit I think theres a bit much dialogue, and because it's voiced you can't really skip it. I found myself just waiting for it to be over, and then be a little unsure what to answer because I didn't listen.
I do own the full game, but since it says prologue, I figured it made sense to play this before the game, since it could be yeah a regular prologue, not a demo. If I were to play the full game, I sure as shit had to be in a different headspace than right now.
Listen, games with loads of dialogue is fine, but you usually get to go and kill shit afterwards, which sorta balances it out... right? So kill kill - run kill, and go to a city and talk to get quests... ;)
