The CGI He-man and the Masters of the Universe premieres today but before we get into that show we wanted to take a look at the way MotU is being treated right now and ask if the IP was mismanaged. Two He-man cartoons have been released months apart from each other and they just announced there's a live action She-ra show in the works by amazon. Ironically, fans of the Netflix version of She-ra are up in arms about the possibility it will not follow the Netflix continuity. In a way it's poetic that the shoe is on the other foot after they bashed the original IP and it's fans for not asking for the Netflix version.

Meanwhile, MotU Revelation was supposed to be the show for longtime fans of the franchise and the new CGI show is supposed to be for kids today. Unfortunately, Revelation didn't pan out as we all hoped. We'll have to see how the CGI show pans out but it can't be worse than Revelation, right?
