If you want to play this snapshot, choose the "Snapshots" profile in your launcher. Keep in mind that snapshots are unstable - they can break your world if you are unlucky - keep backups!
Changes in this version:
- Phantom Membranes added, drop from phantoms instead of leather
- The material to repair Elytra is now Phantom Membranes
- Potion of Slow Falling added, brewed using phantom membranes (1:30)
- Also exists as extended potion of slow fall (4:00)
- Slow Falling effect, prevents fall damage, slows fall speed
- Slow falling in water means that you do not move down unless you press crouch to go down (or use swimming)
- Slow fall while an elytra is equipped allows you to glide and remain airborne at very low speeds, with minimal loss in altitude
- Also lingering potions (0:22, 1:00)
- Also Arrows (0:11, 0:30)
- BUG: Levitation now gives slow falling instead, even if from shulker bullet
- BUG: Effect fails to properly clear in HUD
- Fishy Business Advancement: Catch a fish
- Tactical fishing advancement: Catch a fish... without a fishing rod!
- A Throwaway Joke advancement: Throw a trident at something.
- Very Very Frightening advancement: Strike a Villager with lightning
- New Kelp textures
- Changed generation rules for kelp and seagrass
- Kelp will be mainly in the cold biomes
- Sea grass now generates in swamp biomes
- Sea grass no longer requires water on top to survive
- Fixed kelp sometimes generating with two tops
- Fixed Kelp (non-top block), tall sea grass, and bubble columns missing the translation strings - more info
- Fixed the kelp top not being a "X" like texture
- Fixed kelp being placable on transparent and non-full blocks
- Fixed the kelp top texture always pointing right
- Fixed sea grass, kelp and coral plants generating on magma blocks
- New Riptide behaviours for tridents
- Won't throw the trident, but launches you forward with it
- Riptide can no longer be enchanted together with Loyalty or Channeling
- Riptide prevents the trident from being used if Riptide wouldn't have an effect (when dry)
- When using the riptide enchantment under water your model spins like a torpedo and has white swirls around it
- When lounging forward using riptide, running into mobs deals damage as if hit by trident
- BUG: Using your trident with riptide in survival mode makes it disappear
- Fixed parrots being invisible while on shoulders
- Fixed falling block dropping as an item when landing on sea grass
- Optimized cloud rendering
- F3+C now gives warnings before crashing the game
- BUG: All other F3 combinations are broken
- Only works when in the inventory screen
- minecraft:slow_falling effect
- minecraft:phantom_membrane item
