If you want to play this snapshot, choose the "Snapshots" profile in your launcher. Keep in mind that snapshots are unstable - they can break your world if you are unlucky - keep backups!
Changes in this version:
- WARNING: Opening a world from a previous snapshot will wipe the world
- Can be manually upgraded by changing DataVersion from 1483 to 1484, deleting HeightMap on all chunks
- b snapshot coming tomorrow will fix this!
World:
- Improved the upgrade paths from old versions
- Caves buffet generator type (nether)
- Multiple biome support by manually editing files
- Checkerboard option support
- Fixed "the void" preset missing starting platform
- Heart of the sea items now generate in buried treasure chests
- Fixed sea grass, kelp not generating correctly on trapdoors, stairs, slabs and chests in sunken ships
- Deep frozen ocean is now frozen
- Polar bears and rabbits now spawn in ice plains
- Fixed ore pockets not generating in superflat worlds
- Fixed trees generating side by side/in village houses/as part of fields
- Fixed jungle biomes being extremely cluttered/laggy
- New biome names
- Fixed spawning into the void
- Fixed spawning underwater/in (lava) oceans
Mobs:
- Mobs no longer spawn on ice
- Improved turtle egg laying spot finding algorithm
- New turtle egg texture
- Fixed zombies being able to destroy turtle eggs through a block and a half
- All undead mobs now sink & can breathe
- Skeleton Horses now rideable underwater
- Dolphins now give "Dolphin's Grace" effect, makes you swim faster, stacks with Depth Strider
- Fixed dolphins not trying to get back into water, drowning dolphins not swimming to surface
- Dolphins and phantoms now drop XP
- Phantoms now more flappy
- Fixed zombie horses being invisible and being replaced with regular zombies on reload
- Fixed jeb_ sheep not changing color
- Fixed only players being poisoned by pufferfish
Crafting:
- Fixed being unable to shift-click smeltable items into a furnaces
- Fixed shift-clicking fuel into non-empty furnaces only moving the fuel client-side
Gameplay:
- Fishing drops now come towards the player
- XP orbs now float up in water
- Fixed leaving water while swimming causes the player's arm to disappear
- Sea pickles can now be placed on top of non-solid blocks
- Blue ice now mined using pickaxes
- "How Did We Get Here" advancement now requires conduit power
Sounds
- New sounds for Conduit and Beacon
- Fixed playing the bubble column sound in spectator mode
- Fixed parrots not imitating phantoms and drowneds
Misc UI:
- Updated the game credits
- Fixed slow falling being considered a negative effect
Commands / Tech:
- Fixed the ice block tag missing frosted_ice
- Fixed command autocompletion overriding command history navigation
- Fixed the command syntax help not clamping to the right chat line border
- Fixed command suggestions not ordering numbers from least to greatest
- Fixed selector auto-completion tooltips being mixed up
- You can now copy the output of the /seed command
- Fixed server commands being available in singleplayer/LAN games
- Fixed /help revealing op commands to non-ops, /help with an unavailable command returning "unexpected error"
- Fixed /help no longer prefixing "/" to commands
- Fixed being unable to summon lightning bolts
- Fixed team color not working in the playerlist and sidebar before reconnecting, not showing in json results
- Fixed the colored sidebar display slots not being visible
- Fixed team color not affecting name tags, glow color
- Fixed some team options not working
- Fixed /particle acting strangely across dimensions
- Fixed NoGravity no longer working on items
Server:
- Fixed being unable to start the server with GUI
- Fixed "Preparing spawn area" spamming "0%"
