Welcome to Phoenix Point! The organisation that tries to keep humanity alive in a post apocalyptic world! I noticed we can play the game via Microsoft game pass so we do a play through of the game before it is released on Steam.
Today we are living in bizarro world. Our heavies are hitting targets, even at long ranges whilst our snipers arent having their day. The first mission we do cements our alliance with the disciples of Anu of all people but because of that they share their tech with us.
Holy hell! We are getting so many shiney new things! We should have done this sooner :D
The rest of the episode we do some story missions, haven defences and we get ambushed trying to find some juicy materials. We return the favour by kidnapping a few of those Pandorans. We just got some tech that allows us to turn captive Pandorans into a new resource. Judging by the tech id say its to give our soldiers mutations but regardless, I picked a very bad time to turn most of my captives into food. Lol.
Next episode we should probably do the reputation missions for New Jericho and Synedrion as well. I think I saw on the wiki that if you combine factions their tech you can create hybrid tech which seems very interesting!

Phoenix Point is set in 2047 on an Earth in the midst of an alien invasion, with Lovecraftian horrors on the verge of wiping out humanity. Players start the game in command of a lone base, Phoenix Point, and face a mix of strategic and tactical challenges as they try to save themselves and the rest of humankind from annihilation by the alien threat.
Between battles, the aliens adapt through accelerated, evolutionary mutations to the tactics and technology which players use against them. Meanwhile, multiple factions of humans will pursue their own objectives as they compete with players for limited resources in the apocalyptic world. How players resolve these challenges can result in different endings to the game.
