“Who uses the phone in bed the most?” asks the game master. “Mama!” replies a chorus of children’s voices. Byte The Habit presents an honest, heartfelt and often hilarious look at the device habits of three young Singaporean families.

In this premiere episode, amid much laughter, scrutiny and heckling in jest, family members playfully peel back the layers of their device use to reveal secret digital habits. Rather than the more common do’s-and-don’ts approach, behavioural scientist Jean challenges the families to participate in bespoke experiments to reevaluate their digital habits not with guilt or fear, but with curiosity and insight!
