Nearest Stargazer: St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel
From the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel Stargazer, head to the next large room and go down the stairs to head down the large gap on the floor. Follow the path to the large room with rotating gears. Head for the ladder on the other side of the room, climb up, and then use the thin beams and wooden planks to head to the other side again to climb yet another ladder. Up here, make a U-turn to the left and carefully cross the thin beam to another wooden platform, guarded by a Bloated Carcass. Follow the short path, and then climb down the ladder. Follow the halls until you reach a narrow, steep corridor where electric boulders will periodically fall through. Carefully make your way up, hugging the left side as you go. Follow the path along the ledge and through some Enemies and more stairs to get to the higher area of the previous room. Cross the first moving gear, and then carefully time getting on one of the second moving gear's teeth for a free ride to the other side of the room. Jump off and onto the wooden ledge to enter a small room containing the chest.
If you've already cleared this area, from the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library Stargzer, take the elevator back and go through the room where you fought a mini-boss. You'll be in the room with the broken beams and rotating gears. Ride up the first gear to your left and hop off onto the lone wooden platform to the side. It'll lead you to a room with a chest containing the weapon.
Lies of P is a Soulslike action role-playing video game developed by Neowiz Games and Round8 Studio, and published by Neowiz Games. The game was released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows, macOS on September 18, and PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on September 19, 2023. It is loosely based on the 1883 Italian novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.
Lies of P received generally positive reviews from critics and had sold one million units by October 2023. Downloadable content and a sequel have since been announced.
Lies of P is played from a third-person perspective. The player controls the humanoid Pinocchio and travels on foot through the city of Krat, exploring the environment and fighting various biomechanical enemies. Pinocchio uses an arsenal of weapons such as swords and axes against his enemies and can dodge and block their blows. The game also includes "Fable Arts", a gauge that can be filled by dealing damage or perfectly blocking, which, once its filled, can be used to deal high damage or temporarily give the player passive abilities. Pinocchio has a mechanical arm called "Legion Arm" that can be equipped with gadgets, such as a grappling hook to lure enemies or a flamethrower. The Legion Arm can be used to restore the durability of the player's weapon, and also give it special abilities for a short time such as acid damage or guaranteed perfect blocks. The weapon and crafting system offers 30 different weapon types with 100 combinations, as well as "Special Weapons" which can be obtained after killing a boss. The game features a "Lying System", where the decisions the player makes during certain passages affect the course of events, leading to three different endings.
The gameplay of Lies of P has been called "soulslike" and compared to that of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro.
