Where to Find your IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway info on Nintendo Switch (Fast Tutorial)
To manually enter IP address settings on your Nintendo Switch, follow these steps:
On a PC or smart device:
Locate the following network information:
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Gateway
Nintendo Switch
On the Nintendo Switch console:
Go to the Advanced Settings page of your network connection’s settings.
Select IP Address Settings.
Choose Manual.
For IP Address, delete the existing address (which defaults to zeros) and enter the IP address you found on your network device. Add 20 to the last section of digits. For example, if your computer’s IP address is 192.168.2.5, enter 192.168.2.25 on the Nintendo Switch.
For Subnet Mask, enter the subnet mask as it appears in your network settings (usually 255.255.255.0).
For Gateway, enter the default gateway from your network settings.
Remember that every device on a network must have a unique IP address. Enjoy your gaming!
