Let’s get those controllers paired and synced with your Nintendo Switch. Whether you’re using Joy-Cons, a Switch Pro Controller, or a third-party controller, connecting them is a breeze. Here are the steps:

Pairing Joy-Cons:

Make sure your Nintendo Switch is powered on.
Go to the Controllers menu on the bottom of your Switch’s screen (the icon looks like a Joy-Con controller).
Select Change Grip/Order.

Press and hold the Sync button on each Joy-Con for about one second. They will pair with your system.
Switch Pro Controller:

Wireless Pairing:
Hold your Switch Pro Controller in hand.
Locate the Sync button at the top of the controller (next to the USB-C port).
Press and hold the Sync button until the controller’s icon appears on-screen.

Confirm the connection by pressing the A button.
This method also works with the Nintendo Switch Lite.
USB-C Cable Pairing:

Connect your Switch Pro Controller and your Nintendo Switch using the USB-C cable that came with your controller.
Plug the USB-C end of the cable into the controller and the USB-A end into one of the USB-A ports on your Nintendo Switch’s dock.
Your Switch Pro Controller will automatically connect with your Nintendo Switch.

Remember, it’s all about having fun while gaming!
