In this video I perform an unsophisticated and predictable experiment with four different half dollars: Barber, Walking Liberty, Benjamin, Kennedy. In determining which half dollar is best for my stack and assuming I am looking strictly at weight, then I come to the conclusion that the Benjamin Franklin and Kennedy are best choices for my stack.

Obviously, the older coins such as the Walking Liberty and the Barber have their place in any coin collection and in some cases as part of a silver stack, but I think the best choice, particularly if paying $xx.xx for every $1.00 face value of Constitutional silver in half dollar denominations, then I want to maximize my silver weight.

I recognize, also, that these coins are 90% silver and so the weight in grams is not the silver weight. But for purposes of this experiment I used the manufactured mint weight.
