The 90’s advert was created to show the world that Nintendo consoles simply can't keep up with SEGA!
Of course, it hasn’t aged all that well,
but, it is remembered fondly by Dr. Ludos who turned this meme into a game!
You control Sonic holding a mega drive stopping shoppers who are about to buy an NES
when you do they tell you what makes them want to buy the system for instance MARIO
and you have to quickly as possible choose a game in the same genre for instance
Sonic the hedgehog
If they choose ducktails, suggest castle of illusion
Double Dragon is beaten by streets of rage
Final Fantasy is beaten by Fantasy Star
Tecmo bowl is beaten by john madden
Megaman is beaten by pulse man
And of course super Metroid has nothing on Ecco the dolphin
Yyyeeeeeah ok, not everything sega did was better than Nintendo. But it's a fun little fan game that can be played in a browser for free
