1. What are your favorite examples of an actor/actress being cast against type in a role? Is there an actor/actress that has been recently typecast into a certain role that you think has a much wider range/potential?
2. Since when has the movie going community started complaining about changes from book to screen when they didn’t have an issue with the changes in Jurassic Park and Forrest Gump? What movie or franchise has now made people nitpick the differences on every movie that’s based on a book??
3. What is the likelihood of a new slasher movie and icon? Can this sub-genre cycle back?
4. Read the article about cinematic universes that didn’t get off the ground and it bummed me out. Some of these could have been so good! Whose fault is it? The studio, the source material, the filmmakers?
