Emilia Clarke has continued to take on roles in other huge franchises, but she will forever be remembered for playing the iconic Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO series Game Of Thrones.

Clarke played the Mother of Dragons for almost a decade and has taken the character from a timid and frightened former princess to a conquering dragon-riding queen. Not many actresses can ever attest to playing a character with a story arc like Dany’s.
