When we moved house last year we had the choice to either rent or buy, and after a few quick calculations it became pretty clear that for our circumstances, renting was the much more sensible financial decision, and would leave us in a much stronger position when it comes to moving house again in a few years time. What I didn't expect was how many people would think we were crazy for making the decision we did, believing that renting is "throwing money away". Buying a house is often seen as the ultimate financial dream for a lot of people, and along with going to university, getting a good job and getting married is seen as one of those things you should aspire to do to become a "proper adult". I don't like doing things the way everyone else does just because that's the way they do them, I prefer to put some thought into my decisions, and with the help of this video I urge you to put some thought and research in to what's right for you before you next move house, because for a lot of people, renting can be the best option!
