Why I Stopped Playing Horizon Zero Dawn
202Hey guys.... and maybe a gal who watches my videos? Just wanted to say thank you for watching this. I know it's been a few months, but I had some major writer's block, learning new skills, and overall figuring out what I actually want to do with this channel. I'm not saying you're going to get weekly or even bi-weekly uploads, but the goal is to upload more consistently.
Also, I do think it was a bit extreme of me at the end of the video saying that whoever decided to make Aloy talk a billion times while traveling and exploring shouldn't be in a lead position. I respect game developers a ton, and wish them all the best when it comes to progressing in their careers to finance themselves while doing something they love, but as a consumer it doesn't incentivize me to purchase their future games if the majority of traveling (which is like half the game) is constantly interrupted by the main character. Horizon Zero Dawn isn't the only game that does this, but it's the one that has annoyed me the most with this trend.
