Why It Took 10 Years to Improve DayZ's Driving
We've all done it. We've all taken somebody else's Sarka, Ada, or Olga for a spin, and it flies off into the atmosphere. We still still haven't apologized, or even mentioned it...
Anyway, driving in this game without wrecking is nothing short of a miracle in and of itself. Why is that? To break it down, DayZ's dev team is quite shorthanded, and has been for quite some time. DayZ hasn't had any real financial input for years aside from the new DLC, Sakhal. That's another reason. DayZ is a loss for Bohemia, as each new player isn't giving them enough money to run the servers every month. With such a low number of developers, DayZ won't have a lot being done in the near future. However, with the new experimental update, features are being carried over, and that includes better driving! Still no helicopters or planes or bikes... But there are dinghys.
