0Today, the Enhanced Editions of Legends of the Zone released for PC. R/stalker is rightfully upset, and they're not the only ones. Discord and /sg/ are also in hot debate about these new editions. A couple of hours ago, there was a post on r/stalker. Somebody wrote a message for the developers over at GSC Game World, wanting them to acknowledge the community's feedback. There's a surprising variety of points and arguments on the matter. Hopefully somebody sees it and decides to respond. However, even if they do respond, I myself highly doubt anything will change. This stance wasn't taken overnight; it's been a thing for a few years now, even before STALKER 2 released.
I did my best to present this in an unbiased manner.
