Why not Savescum? [Tears of the Kingdom #1]
Now that I have my mitts on TotK you might think I'll make it my world for a while, but nah. I put in a big ol' 8-hour session after this one and I feel pretty content with playing other games in my spare time, as well as this one on my days off in particular.
In this session I did a good amount of the tutorial Plateau area, but I went to the snow too early and had a rough time of things, all for nothing as I eventually discovered. It was still a grand time and I eventually swallowed my pride and found my way back to the main path again, where I began progressing through the tutorial at long last, after exhausting a lot of resources over nothing. It's me playing the game my way, however I want, and I love that for me. Expect a full playthrough, but not a 100%; I have no desire to scour the world for Koroks, and I don't know what other manner of grinding the game could have in store for me. I don't want to subject myself to any unnecessary grinding just because the game says "good job you 100%'d it."
Regarding the video title, I found that when you reload from a save, your health is reset to 3 hearts. Navigating a cold area eats up my food resources, which is combatted quite easily by saving the game every few dozen seconds instead of eating food.
