In this video, we'll do a comparison of old horror games and new horror games and try and come up with an explanation as to why old horror games seem to be much scarier than new ones. To do so, we will take an especially close look at atmosphere and design, gameplay, and technical limitations and try to explain exactly how these factors influence both new and old horror games.
