If you would rather read this than watch the video, I do not recommend playing in journey mode if you are a beginner. It completely breaks game progression and ruins the player's fun in slowly making better and better gear and it doesn't help prepare new players for classic mode very well. I find journey mode more as a tool for building and making adventure maps with rather than an "easier than classic mode" way to play.


If you were in the brain of cthulhu situation and you had the opportunity to use godmode and if you didn't use it, you would die, you would most likely use it rather than die and learn from your mistakes.
