Why hello you lovely little peppercorns, my name's Noa Lee and in this video I'm going to go over the fundamental reasons why video games are good for you and for the world by virtue of their interactive elements as well as their primarily solo and multiplayer elements. Video games can be used as a method of personal growth and as a way for us to develop empathy and compassion for different cultures, people, ideas, and beliefs all from the comfort of our homes and devoid of any social stigmas or repercussions.
Here's why video games are good for you: you can be anything, anyone, or explore any concept and idea. As Aristotle said, "It is the mark of an educated mind to entertain a thought without accepting it." Video games are Aristotle's remark in a nutshell, for through video games we can explore and entertain any thought or idea without necessarily accepting them. We can gain the knowledge of what it's like to be an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog from the 90s exploring his chilidog fetish without accepting the life of a chilidog fetishist. And if that isn't reason enough to show why video games are good for you and for the world, I don't know what is.
