Frogun is a 3D platformer created by Molegato that just might be one of the best 3D platformers ever made. It takes a level based approach to its design that is more reminiscent of classics like Croc: Legend of the Gabbos, Bomberman Hero, and Crash and Spyro rather than the more typical sandboxy design of games like Super Mario 64 or Banjo-Kazooie. Frogun's unique mechanic of grabbing things with the Frogun's tongue rather than making everything about jumping puts a nice twist on these tried and true tropes that's reinforced by its excellent level design.

However, Frogun can be a little rough around the edges and it just might be a little too difficult to master for most players, which I can see turning off a lot of potential fans before they even get to see what makes it so special. Still, I think Frogun is a phenomenal game overall that's definitely worth your time.
