Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G74, 2nd Campaign pt16 2/2: Preparing to hit rock bottom.
Playing without hints meant I had to systematically got back and eliminate the Purple Doors, in the hopes that a critical item is found. Which would enable me to progress further into Torvus Bog and beyond... Vid timeline:
(0:00) The Shrine (pt 2) and Purple Door into Gateway Access.
(2:58) Cut off at Sky Temple Gateway.
Luminoth lore and artifacts. This room has it's own thing going on here. But I clearly came unprepared.
(15:50) Purple Door at Poisonous Bog. En route to Abandoned Base's Portal.
(28:32) Back to Light Aether. From Path of Eyes to Transport to Torvus Bog.
(32:16) Back at Torvus Bog.
(40:29) Inaccessible Missile Expansion at Portal Chamber to Dark Aether.
(56:03) Back at Dark Aether to Venomous Pond.
(1:06:59) Back at Venomous Pond.
(1:09:53) Missile Expansion at Portal Chamber. Dark, Light and back to Dark.
(1:14:29) Back at Poisonous Bog.
(1:16:26) Purple Door to Ing Cache. Beam Expansion acquired.
Turned out, the same Beam Expansion adds ammo capacity to both the Light and Dark Beams by 50. For a total of 250. Like Missiles. Mich needed for the alternate fire of the latter, which consumes 30.
(1:25:38) I missed something, somewhere...
With the final known Purple Door unlocked, and still no critical items found, it came to a point where there was nothing lefts to do but to reexamine previously explored areas. In a desperate attempt to see what went wrong. What was it that I missed.
