Wind Element - The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap Ep. 22
Link's Journal:
Day 22
After jumping to the floor below, there was a Darknut ready to attack! It was quite a swordfight and it was really hard to get it to slip up, but I managed to outsmart it by tripping it, rolling to the side, and pushing it off the edge.
The palace continued. It was bigger than Ezlo or I thought. Well, this place is more of a palace and it was meant for the Wind Tribe. Ezlo believes that the monsters came in shortly after Vaati broke the Picori Blade and the Wind Tribe had to flee.
This place was definitely built for the Wind Tribe. There was hardly any solid ground! It's a good thing I found that roc's cape. Eventually, we came to the highest point of the palace. There was a whirlwind at the top. I looked up, but there was no more palace.
That was when I saw the shadow in the sky. Ezlo was worried. That was a giant Gyorg! This monster must have the Wind Element! I held onto Ezlo and used the whirlwind to try to land on it. I managed to land on the blue gyorg which flew over the red one.
I noticed the red gyorg had glowing tiles on it. I have no idea how those got there, but now wasn't the time to ask questions. I split into three and slashed at the gyorg's open eyes. The gyorg was in pain and was flailing around. I couldn't hold on much longer, so I used the cape to leap onto the blue one. It opened its eyes and I stabbed them each time.
The red gyorg recovered slightly as the blue one crashed into it. The gyorg flew erratically, trying to get me to fall off, but I wouldn't let go. I stabbed my sword into the nearest eye and it screamed. I was able to steady it and finish it off.
The monster began to fall and it disappeared like all the other monsters. I was still falling. I used the cape to land back on the palace's top. Once I did, the Wind Element descended slowly into my hands. A slight breeze blew around me as I held the element. It reminded me of early springtime, when the first flowers bloomed.
Finally, I had the last element. I left the palace and stayed with the Wind Tribe for the night since the trek through the palace and the battles were quite exhausting. I'm leaving for Hyrule in a few hours. There's a few things I want to take care of before I take the Wind Element to the Elemental Sanctuary. Even with the sacred blade restored, it never hurts to be prepared to face Vaati.
