This video presents two possible solutions to the common issue of a program crashing or "has stopped working" on a Windows computer.

METHOD ONE:
In a elevated command prompt (admin privileges):
sfc /scannow

METHOD TWO (ALTERNATE METHOD):
Open the Start menu
Type Advanced System Settings from the list
Click on blue "settings" button under "Performance"
Select the Data Execution Prevention tab (far right)
Select the option which reads Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
Use the Browse button to locate the executable file for the application you were trying to start (program.exe.exe) when you received the error, and click Open to add it to your exceptions list.
Click Apply or OK to commit your changes.
Restart your computer
Try to open application/executable again at that time.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).
