Today, we will be taking a look at how to install the Windows 8 Developer Preview in a virtual machine. This build was initially introduced in 2011 at Microsoft's BUILD conference. A lot has changed between it and the current version of Windows 8.1. It still includes the Aero UI, start button (with a sort-of start menu), and the show desktop button in the Windows Taskbar.
